Melania Trump wears two striking leather ensembles to G20 summit

Although Melania Trump's schedule has been filled with fun festivities in recent weeks, owing to Thanksgiving and the unveiling of the White House Christmas decorations, it was back to work as usual on Thursday.
Melania left the White House with her husband President Donald Trump to board Marine One, ahead of a flight to Argentina to attend the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.
And in leaving for the event, FLOTUS opted for a most eye-catching leather ensemble.
Keeping things luxury, as per usual, she donned a brown leather coat by Ralph Lauren, an item of outerwear estimated to be worth £4,600.

She paired the outfit with matching chocolate toned jumper and Manolo Blahnik heels, as well as a contrasting lilac skirt by New York-based designer, Derek Lam - one which boasted the same leather finish as her jacket.
Leather on leather - quite the sartorial statement!
It was a look Melania obviously liked, because after the long-haul flight she arrived at Ezeiza International Airport in almost the exact same outfit, with just a few tweaks.
She had switched the purple leather midi skirt for another of the same style, but toned down the colourway opting for a sleek white hue.

And she had added a quirky twist: a pair of cow print heels, again by Manolo Blahnik.
This is the second time in a week Melania's outfit has captured the world's attention. Last week she caused controversy for wearing Dolce & Gabbana to a Thanksgiving dinner at a time when D&G were experiencing major backlash over a racist advertising campaign they had produced.
The First Lady is known for pulling out all the stops when it comes to political events - wearing a $51k Dolce & Gabbana coat to the G20 summit in 2017 - which means we're sure she has a few more style surprises planned for the weekend ahead.
