Tottenham 1 Liverpool 2: Michel Vorm horror show gifts Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino goals as Reds maintain perfect start

Georginio Wijnaldum's looping header opened the scoring in the first half
Liverpool put to bed their Wembley demons from last season after beating Premier League title rivals Tottenham to retain their place at the top of the table.
Despite having a goal ruled offside within two minutes, Liverpool went on to take the lead on the cusp of half-time courtesy of a looping Georginio Wijnaldum header which evaded the Spurs defence and was proved to have crossed the line.
Liverpool took the initiative and soon built on their margin early in the second half, Sadio Mane picking out Roberto Firmino who lashed the ball over the line at close range.
Erik Lamela gave Spurs faint hope in added time after lashing the ball into the bottom corner past goalkeeper Alisson Becker, but the visitors held on to take all three points.
