FBI helping Slovakia over slaying of journalis

Slovakia’s Interior Minister says the FBI and Britain’s Scotland Yard and other foreign agencies are helping Slovak authorities investigate the killing of an investigative journalist and his girlfriend.
In a message posted on Facebook, Robert Kalinak says he has been in touch with “the most important investigative agencies in the world,” having asked for help in the wake of the discovery of the bodies of Jan Kuciak and his girlfriend Martina Kusnirova at their home on Sunday.
Kalinak previously said that Czech and Italian police forces as well Europol have been cooperating with their Slovak counterparts in the investigation.
In his last unfinished story, the 27-year-old Kuciak was writing about the activities of Italian mafia in his country and their ties to people close to Prime Minister Robert Fico.
