The Three Lions will face Belgium, managed by Roberto Martinez, in their final game of the group stages in Kaliningrad on June 28.
Tunisia have failed to qualify for the past two World Cup tournaments, but came through their qualifying unbeaten to secure a place in Russia.
England's second game of the group stage will be against Panama, to be played in Nizhny Novgorod on June 24.
The South American's qualified for their first ever World Cup when they scored a last-gasp winner over Costa Rica in the final match.

The way the draw panned out, if England get through they would face either Poland, Colombia, Senegal or Japan in the last 16.
And there is the prospect of a mouth-watering quarter-final clash with Germany or Brazil also possible.
Facing Tunisia in the opening game is a repeat of 1009, when Glenn Hoddle's side came away with a 2-0 win in Marseille.
Alan Shearer said: "That brings back memories of the opening game in France 1998 when we played Tunisia and won.
"We have six days rest after the first game, so if they are worried about travel distances that shouldn't be a problem now."
