Michy Batshuayi scores at the death as Chelsea stun Atletico Madrid

Champions League Group C, Wanda Metropolitano – Atletico Madrid 1 (Griezmann pen. 40') Chelsea 2 (Morata 59', Batshuayi 90+3')

Michy Batshuayi's injury-time winner ensured Chelsea became the first away team to beat Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The Belgian forward coolly slotted in from close range deep into stoppage time to cap a superb all-round showing from Antonio Conte's men and make it two wins from two in the competition.
Former Real Madrid forward, Alvaro Morata had earlier marked his return to the Spanish capital with a bang, snaring his seventh goal for the Blues to cancel out Antoine Griezmann's first-half spot kick.
It means Los Rojiblancos' first European game at the Estadio Metropolitano ended in disappointment as they lost a Champions League game under Diego Simeone at home for only the second time.
Chelsea remain two points clear at the top of the pool, with Roma just behind and Atletico with much work to do on one.
Next up, Chelsea host Roma while Atletico travel to pointless FK Qarabag on October 18.
