Riot police clash with G20 protesters in Hamburg

Police in Hamburg appeal for nationwide reinforcements to deal with violent protests
Police in Hamburg have asked for reinforcements as violent clashes with protesters on the streets of the German port city continue.
As many as 100,000 anti-capitalists are expected to descend on the German port city.
Police have fired water cannon and tear gas at protesters who hurled bottles and bricks.
At least 76 officers have been injured in the violence so far - and the pilot of a force helicopter suffered eye injuries after a laser was beamed up at the chopper.
This morning, riot police have continued to dispel protesters blocking streets in the city centre.
Firefighters have also been at the scenes extinguishing cars that have been set alight.
